Sirius Minerals holds public drop in sessions

Members of the public are being invited to attend informal drop-in events held by Sirius Minerals.

The FTSE 250 company, which is currently developing Woodsmith Mine, near Whitby, as part of its North Yorkshire polyhalite project, has arranged for two information sessions to take place in Hawsker and Sneaton, near Whitby.

The purpose of the meetings is to provide an update of the project’s construction progress, which has been ongoing at the mine site since April 2017, as well as to give an overview of the works that will be taking place over the next year.

The events will take place at Sneaton Village Hall on 13 November, and Hawsker and Stainsacre Parish Hall on 21 November. Both will run between 4.00pm – 7.00pm.
